Vitex or Chaste Tree

Latin Name = Vitex agnus-castus 

Vitex is a deciduous large specimen shrub that produces dense clusters of beautiful purplish-blue flower spike blooms throughout the summer months. Hybrid varieties are available in white and pink flowers with several shorter dwarf varieties to choose from as well.

Vitex does very well in north Texas landscapes and is the perfect addition to any yard to provide color and interest in your landscape displays all summer long.
